Right now, the new Dido CD is sounding very nice coming from my CD player.
I cannot wait for Josh Groban's new CD coming out tomorrow. I'm giddy with anticipation.
What is in everyone elses CD player? (or illegal downloaded song lists?)

I try to listen to a wide variety of stuff; I like my music like my movies though, sorta obscure and off the beaten path, in general. I'm getting to be more and more of a typical college indie rocker. Modest Mouse, the Mars Volta, the Long Winters, Radiohead, Sleater-Kinney, Interpol... etc.

Billboard--#1 Hits of the '80s. Or, more specifically, "Mickey" by Tony Basil.
What? You wanna piece of me?

Just got the new albums from The Shins and The Rapture, as well as an older one by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. I've also been listening to a whole lot of Belle and Sebastian - I heart them sooooooo much.

Mumbles something about Garth Brooks and Montgomery Gentry (really enjoying their new song "Hell Yeah"), and goes back to her own little world.
And what I'm REALLY listening to at the moment is the kiddies upstairs running around. Can't wait to move.....

God looks a lot like Doctor Octopus! You're Damn Right. And by the way - I'm at work right now, but Radiohead's Hail to the Theif was on in the car on the way here.

John Mayer has been finding his way into my sterio alot. But I always tune into the local college station to satisfy my indie love (plus it's soooo easy to win tickets to concerts.) Nineties Alt rock is my ultimate passion: Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Bush, Blur, etc...

I've found myself listening more and more to long rambling 60s & 70s rock. When I say "long & rambling", I mean songs like: - The Doors - The End (almost 12 minutes)
- Iron Butterfly - Innagaddadavida (17+ minutes)
I don't know why, but the repetition has been helping me concentrate.
